INAGURATION
The inauguration of AEK’s historic stadium was a spectacular event welcoming more than 4,000 guests, celebrating the club’s legacy, culture, and passion. The production paid strong tribute to the Pontic heritage closely associated with the club’s roots, featuring 100 dancers performing traditional Pontic dances accompanied by the powerful and emotional sound of the Pontic lyra, creating a deeply moving connection between history and the present.
Another highlight of the evening was the dynamic performance by the AEK Amazons, who delivered an energetic athletic and choreographed act that honored the spirit of sport and the strength of the club’s identity.
The climax of the night came with the appearance of a giant illuminated figure running across the stadium and symbolically scoring a goal on the field, creating a breathtaking moment for the thousands of spectators. The ceremony concluded with a spectacular fireworks display illuminating the stadium’s roof, marking the opening of a new and historic chapter for AEK.
